| Tight Tilt Goes to Princes, 3-2 | The Westside Road Warriors got a superb performance from pitcher Jon Duren, but the Bel Air Princes still won the game, 3-2. Duren was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Paul Richards was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 2 save opportunities. Bel Air has now won 4 in a row.
The Princes got a big at-bat from designated hitter Pete Lassahn. For the game, Lassahn was 2-2 with 2 doubles and a walk. In the bottom of the seventh, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 7th double of the season gave Bel Air a 3-2 lead.
Lassahn said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
