| Mustangs Mow Down Jedi Knights, 9-3 | San Angelo right-hander Eric Watson made an effective start against the New Orleans Jedi Knights at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium, leading his team to a 9-3 win. The winning pitcher was Watson, now 11-8. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 10. The Mustangs, at 53-60, sit in 4th place in the TMLA Earl Weaver Division.
Gabe Gay's at-bat in the bottom of the third inning was a big one for San Angelo. Coming to bat with one out, the bases loaded and San Angelo leading 3-2, the left fielder reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run.
