| Saints Deal Knights Painful Loss | The St. Paul Saints overcame a good performance by Kingwood right fielder Tobias Garcia to knock off Kingwood, 7-6, at Saints Ballpark. Garcia went 3-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times. Even with the win, the Saints have a dismal 38-75 record.
The Saints got a big at-bat from designated hitter Keith Densmore. For the game, Densmore was 2-5 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 11th double of the season gave St. Paul a 7-6 lead.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Densmore said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
