| Garcia Slugs Hornets to 8-6 Win | The Bethesda Hornets topped the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws by the score of 8-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Armando Garcia. Garcia hit 2 home runs for the Hornets on the day. Nolan Ryan Jr. got credit for the win, improving to 1-9. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 5.1 innings. The Hornets are now 44-67, while the Dancin' Outlaws fall to 54-59.
Javier Carpio aided the Bethesda cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the third. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
