| Mustangs Lose, 8-4, at The Reservation | The Chippewa River Chiefs topped the San Angelo Mustangs, 8-4, in TMLA action at The Reservation. The player of the game was Chippewa right fielder Kyle Wakeman. Junior Castillo picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 3 earned runs on 7 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 11-6. The River Chiefs bumped their record to 62-50 with this latest triumph.
The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the The Reservation crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
