| Lewis on Fire: 5-for-6 for Maple | Sam Lewis was smoking all game at the plate, but couldn't finish his day with a victory cigar.
After the 25-year-old Maple Marauders catcher tallied 5 hits in 6 at-bats, he was forced to watch as his club dropped the 8-5 decision to the South Carolina Bombers.
"That was no fun," Lewis said to reporters after the game. "You hate to lose any game but it's even worse somehow to feel like you did enough to win."
Sam Lewis singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jalen DePass in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, singled in the 11th and singled in the 13th.
