Vikings Lose, 7-2, at Coney Island Coliseum

Coney Island pitcher Jimmie Morton did his part in helping his team beat the Victoria Vikings, 7-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Morton, now 5-10, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing 1 earned run.
