| Salas Dazzles in West Virginia Win | The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws picked up a win at Penlee Park, knocking off the Bethesda Hornets, 2-1. On the mound for West Virginia was right-hander Andy Salas, who played a pivotal role in the win. At 53-58, West Virginia is in 4th place in the RCLA Dusty Baker Division.
Salas, a native of Izalco, El Salvador, was dealing all game. He kept Bethesda hitters off-balance, while giving the Dancin' Outlaws 7 quality innings. Salas threw 103 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 13.
"I was a little disappointed," said Bethesda manager Bob Reece. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
