| Saints Get Road Win, 7-3 | The St. Paul Saints topped the Nichols Gnats, 7-3, in TMLA action at The Pond. The player of the game was St. Paul pitcher and Patarra, Costa Rica native Danny Garcia. Even with the win, the Saints have a dismal 36-72 record.
Rich Mitchell was 1-4 with a walk for St. Paul. The 23-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Sam Berg. It was his 41st walk of the season.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Garcia said after the game.
