| Orphans Get Road Win, 6-4 | The Cambridge Orphans downed the Houston Sting, 6-4, at Woodland Park. Taylor Ellis led the way, going 2-for-4 for Cambridge. Cambridge reliever John Saucedo picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Jim Riggs absorbed the loss. Even with the win, the Orphans have a dismal 37-69 record.
Cambridge grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Ellis hit a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season put the Orphans out in front, 4-2.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Ellis said.
