The Brisbane Bush Wackers topped the Westside Road Warriors by the score of 5-4, with the largest share of the credit going to second baseman Ryan Calcagno. Calcagno was 2-4 with a home run and a triple, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bush Wackers. Brisbane, at 47-61, sits in 5th place in the RCLA Dusty Baker Division.
Calcagno had a game-changing triple in the top of the eighth. On a 2-2 sinker from Manuel Visser, he banged a run-scoring triple to right-center, giving the Bush Wackers a 5-4 lead. It was the 4th triple of the year for Calcagno.
