The St. Petersburg Pelicans defeated the Eugene Emeralds, 6-3, in RCLA action at Billy Mathews Field, with St. Petersburg pitcher Yukio Inouye named player of the game. Inouye picked up the win for St. Petersburg, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 12-6. Pat Bonham converted his 2nd save in 3 tries.
