| Republic Rally For Late Win Over Texans | So Cal and Dallas duked it out at Metroplex Park and the Republic came out victorious.
The So Cal Republic got a strong performance from pitcher Khurshid Durrani, who stymied the Dallas offense en route to a 4-2 win at Metroplex Park. Durrani went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 0, and struck out 1. His record improves to 5-4.
The Republic got a big at-bat from designated hitter Zeus Mayhem. For the game, Mayhem was 1-4 with a home run. In the top of the ninth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 10th home run of the season gave So Cal a 3-2 lead.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Durrani said.
The current losing streak for Dallas has reached 4 games.
