| Jedi Knights Win at Chippewa, 7-4 | New Orleans and Chippewa duked it out at The Reservation and the Jedi Knights came out victorious.
Getting a good performance from catcher Antonio Muniz, the New Orleans Jedi Knights defeated the Chippewa River Chiefs, 7-4. Muniz went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks for the Jedi Knights. The win was credited to Leo Castillo in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Ivan Silva took the loss.
Alex Deigado hit a 2-run double off Mark Daniel in the top of the sixth, which put the Jedi Knights in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Deigado had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Muniz said.
The Jedi Knights bumped their record to 58-49 with this latest triumph.
