| Vikings Score Late, Top Sting, 6-5 | The Houston Sting and Dublin Vikings provided some drama at Valhalla Summit.
The Dublin Vikings eked out a 6-5 win versus the Houston Sting at Valhalla Summit. Nobody did more than pitcher Francis Haworth, who captured player of the game honors. Matt Hendricksen notched his 9th save in 13 chances.
J.D. Dennis drew 1 walk for Dublin. The 22-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Blake Victoria. It was his 36th RBI of the season.
Dennis called the triumph "a good team win."
The Vikings bumped their record to 61-41 with this latest triumph.
