| Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Knights | The Kingwood Knights outlasted David Wilson and the Williamsport Crosscutters, 8-7. Wilson was impressive in the loss. The Williamsport designated hitter went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Reliever Alton Lesage picked up the win. His record improves to 5-0. Octavio Arce took the loss. Kingwood goes to 71-32. The win puts them 11½ games up in their division.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Kingwood first baseman Brendan Webb, facing Octavio Arce, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Knights the 8-7 win.
Webb called the triumph "a good team win."
