| Victory Pushes Jedi Knights Record to 56-46 | The New Orleans Jedi Knights scored a 1-0 win versus the Cambridge Orphans at Abbey Stadium. New Orleans pitcher Barnes Boersma nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. The Jedi Knights bumped their record to 56-46 with this latest triumph.
Dan Crawford was 1-2 with 2 walks for New Orleans. The 22-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With no one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Dave Bustos. It was his 39th RBI of the season.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Cambridge manager Fernando Padilla.
