| Knights Stun Princes, 7-4 | The Kingwood Knights downed the Bel Air Princes, 7-4, at Stable Park. The Knights were led by Cesar Gonzalez, who captured player of the game honors. He went 1 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win was credited to Tsutomu Mori in relief. His record improves to 1-1. David Medina took the loss. Bel Air has now lost 4 straight.
Gonzalez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-0 cutter from Paul Richards, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Knights a 7-4 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Gonzalez.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Gonzalez told the Kingwood Bulletin.
