| Warriors Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Cambridge | Winfield pitcher Ivan Cortez did his part in helping his team beat the Cambridge Orphans, 6-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Andreas Pearce was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 4 save opportunities. At 41-55, the Warriors are currently 5th in the TMLA Earl Weaver Division.
Terry Slocum aided the Winfield cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk.
