| Vikings Win at Okanagan, 2-1 | The Vikings had to overcome a fine effort from Okanagan pitcher Sean McCarthy to grab a narrow 2-1 win at Elks Stadium. McCarthy went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Dublin reliever Chris Bogart was credited with the win, to go to 2-2. Sean McCarthy took the loss for Okanagan. Matt Hendricksen notched his 7th save in 11 chances.
Had Franklin Onofre not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Onofre hit a 2-run single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Vikings.
Onofre called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
The Vikings bumped their record to 57-39 with this latest triumph.
