| Multi-HR Game for Barrett in 6-5 Win | The Bloomington Blazers beat the Vancouver Pioneers, 6-5 at Arson Arena, in part due to left fielder Roger Barrett, who nabbed player of the game honors. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The win was credited to Freddy Aguilar in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Nobutoshi Katayama took the loss. The save was Danny Reliford's, his 6th.
T.J. Little hit a run-scoring double off Nobutoshi Katayama in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Blazers in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Little had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Little. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
The Blazers bumped their record to 32-26 with this latest triumph.
