| Jedi Knights Get Close Win Over Dancin' Outlaws | The New Orleans Jedi Knights did just enough to secure a 5-4 victory over the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws at The Republic. Nobody did more than pitcher Chad McClure, who captured player of the game honors. The Jedi Knights bumped their record to 55-44 with this latest triumph.
New Orleans's win came gift-wrapped. With no one out in the bottom of the ninth, with the game tied, Alex Deigado reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run.
"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Deigado told the New Orleans Citizen.
