| Panthers Prevail, 5-4, Over St. Paul | Charleston right-hander Tim Medlin made an effective start against the St. Paul Saints at Franklin Mountains Field, leading his team to a 5-4 win. Charleston has now won 3 straight, while the Saints have lost 12 in a row.
The Panthers got a big at-bat from center fielder John Huot. For the game, Huot was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the seventh, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Charleston a 5-3 lead.
