| Jedi Knights Bang Out 10-2 Win Versus Nichols | The New Orleans Jedi Knights defeated the Nichols Gnats, 10-2. Earning player of the game honors was catcher Tyler Walter, who was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. New Orleans reliever Leo Castillo was credited with the win, to go to 3-2. Seth McMahill took the loss for Nichols. The Jedi Knights bumped their record to 54-43 with this latest triumph.
Paul Stasi, who is tied for 6th in the TA in runs scored with 52, aided the New Orleans cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the right fielder was 2-5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Walter.
