| Kings Need Extra Frames to Get Past Orphans | The Cambridge Orphans went down to defeat to Juan Adorno and his Atlantic City teammates. The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Kings. Atlantic City reliever Christian Barnes picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Rafael Padilla took the loss. Atlantic City is second in the RCLA Dusty Baker Division with a record of 54-38.
Atlantic City used the timely hitting of Felix Avila to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Kings on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Cambridge manager Fernando Padilla.
