| Multi-HR Game for Brandenburg in 14-4 Win | Westside right fielder Mike Brandenburg made his presence felt in the 14-4 Road Warriors triumph over the Bethesda Hornets. Brandenburg belted 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 7. Westside reliever Roberto Vega was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Jesus Siguenza. With the win over Bethesda, the Road Warriors improved to 43-50.
Brandenburg had a key at-bat for Westside early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and gave Westside an early 4-0 lead.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Brandenburg told the Westside Daily News. "It's as simple as that."
