| Cisneros Now 4-2 After Subduing Kings | Conditions were not ideal but St. Petersburg and Atlantic City were able to put their game in the books.
The St. Petersburg Pelicans got a strong performance from pitcher Tony Cisneros, who stymied the Atlantic City offense en route to a 4-1 win at Billy Mathews Field. The Pelicans bumped their record to 47-46 with this latest triumph.
Cisneros earned the win to move to 4-2. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 8 and walking 2. The right-hander allowed the Kings few scoring opportunities.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Cisneros.
