| Hornets Prevail, 4-3, Over Eugene | Bethesda Hornets starter Dustin Thompson was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Eugene Emeralds, 4-3. Tadakatsu Murayama got the save, his 15th in 18 chances. Bethesda is now 39-50, Eugene 38-52.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when catcher Douglas Dannattet, who is tied for 3rd in the RA in home runs with 13, hit a double. The Hornets went on to win.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Dannattet told the Bethesda Observer.
