| Lake Monsters Take Nail-Biter Over Panthers | For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.
The Okanagan Lake Monsters had to overcome a big game from Charleston catcher Leo Santana to leave Elks Stadium with a 4-3 victory. Santana went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and 2 walks. The Lake Monsters sit in second place in the TMLA Dick Williams Division with a record of 51-37.
The Lake Monsters got a big at-bat from third baseman Nelson Casiano. For the game, Casiano was 1-5 with a hit by pitch. In the bottom of the 12th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 14th hit of the season gave Okanagan a 4-3 lead.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Casiano told the Okanagan Times.
