With designated hitter Tokio Yamaguchi leading the charge, the Kingwood Knights defeated the Coney Island Cyclones, 6-4, at Coney Island Coliseum. Yamaguchi hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Reliever Ryan Berkowitz picked up the win. His record improves to 8-1. Stephen Schuller took the loss. Zak Osborn notched his 23rd save in 26 chances.

Yamaguchi had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Stephen Schuller, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Knights a 5-3 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Yamaguchi.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Yamaguchi said after the game.

The first-place Knights have won 5 consecutive games.
