The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Midland is in 4th place in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division with a record of 26-31.
The Rockhounds got a big at-bat from third baseman Zhong-shu Chuang. For the game, Chuang was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 40th hit of the season gave Midland a 2-0 lead.
