| Noyola Dazzles in Okanagan Win | Coney Island Coliseum was the site of a exceptional pitchers' duel.
Ruben Noyola never let Coney Island get something going. The Okanagan left-hander commanded his curveball in pitching the Lake Monsters to a 1-0 win. Jesús Velásquez notched his 16th save in 20 chances.
Noyola earned the win to move to 6-6. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 2 hits, striking out 5 and walking 1. The left-hander allowed the Cyclones few scoring opportunities.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Okanagan manager Stu Yarbrough. "Our pregame was pretty good."
Okanagan is now riding a 5-game win streak.
