| Mustangs Get Win, Extend Streak to 4 | The San Angelo Mustangs defeated the New Orleans Jedi Knights, 11-4, in TMLA action at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium, with San Angelo designated hitter Jay Rykhus named player of the game. The Mustangs, now 39-46, have won 4 in a row.
The Mustangs got a big at-bat from center fielder Kyouhei Kawabe. For the game, Kawabe went 2 for 5 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave San Angelo a 2-0 lead.
