| Warriors Subdue Nichols, 2-0 | The Winfield Warriors got a strong performance from pitcher Marco Reyes, who stymied the Nichols offense en route to a 2-0 win at The Barn. Jose Eliserio got the save, his 4th in 5 chances. The Warriors raised their record to 35-47.
The Warriors got a big at-bat from first baseman Brice Brady. For the game, Brady was 3-4 with 3 singles. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 32nd hit of the season gave Winfield a 1-0 lead.
