| Orphans Win 4-3 Walk-Off | The Orphans had to overcome a good performance from West Virginia pitcher Damani Letang to claim a 4-3 win at Abbey Stadium. Letang went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs. Even with the win, the Orphans have a dismal 28-53 record.
The Orphans got a big at-bat from designated hitter Iván Pérez. For the game, Pérez was 2-5 with 2 singles and a walk. In the bottom of the 12th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 13th hit of the season gave Cambridge a 4-3 lead.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Pérez said.
