| Cyclones Subdue St. Paul, 5-4 | The St. Paul Saints got a superb performance from center fielder Peyton Miller. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Coney Island. The Cyclones won the game, 5-4. In spite of the loss, Miller was named the player of the game. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. David Alvarez got the save, his 2nd in 4 chances. The Cyclones, at 35-48, sit in 5th place in the TMLA Dick Williams Division.
It could have been a different outcome for Coney Island, had it not been for Armando Banda, the 22-year old second baseman . Banda contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Coney Island up, 4-3.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," St. Paul manager Ramón Rosário said following the tough loss.
