| Lake Monsters Clip River Chiefs, 5-4 | The Reservation was the site of a competitive game between the Chippewa River Chiefs and Okanagan Lake Monsters.
The Chippewa River Chiefs got a sterling performance from pitcher Lorenzo Chavez, but the Lake Monsters still prevailed, 5-4. Chavez was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings of 5-hit ball. The Lake Monsters bumped their record to 46-36 with this latest triumph.
Dave Duval, who is tied for 10th in the TA with a .292 batting average, aided the Okanagan cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the second. For the game, the shortstop was 1-2 with a walk.
