| G.o.D. Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win | Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Tonga G.o.D. got the win.
Tonga turned a good effort from starter Adhipa Vemireddy into a win over the Brooklyn Black Knights at Blue Ivy Stadium. The final score was 4-2. The Black Knights, now 27-31, have lost 4 straight.
Tonga used the timely hitting of Jean-Claude Petit to capture the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 12th inning to put the G.o.D. on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but he made it count.
"I thought we played a nice game," Vemireddy told the Tonga Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
