| Orphans Come Back Late to Top Dancin' Outlaws | The Cambridge Orphans bested the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws, 7-6, at Abbey Stadium. Iván Pérez was named player of the game. He was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Cambridge reliever Alex Vazquez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-3. Tadasumi Murakami was saddled with the loss. Even with the win, the Orphans have a dismal 27-53 record.
Had Chris Ojeda not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Ojeda hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Orphans.
