| Vikings Lose, 5-3, at The Pond | It was a good time at The Pond, where fans came to watch the Dublin Vikings and Nichols Gnats get after it.
The Nichols Gnats topped the Dublin Vikings, 5-3, in TMLA action at The Pond. The player of the game was Nichols pitcher and Road Town, British Virgin Islands native Howard Radley. Radley got the win, improving to 5-1. He allowed 5 hits and walked 2 over 5 innings. Radley allowed 1 earned run.
The Gnats got a big at-bat from first baseman Bryan McGregor. For the game, McGregor was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Nichols a 4-1 lead.
