| Victory Pushes Kings Record to 46-32 | The Atlantic City Kings topped the San Angelo Mustangs, 4-1, in RCLA action at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. The player of the game was Atlantic City pitcher and San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico native Jorge Talavera. Talavera got the win, improving to 1-4. He allowed 2 hits and walked 3 over 5.2 innings. Talavera allowed 1 earned run. The Kings bumped their record to 46-32 with this latest triumph.
Bill Hopkins drove in one run for Atlantic City. The 25-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Mike Ramirez. It was his 28th RBI of the season.
"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Talavera.
