| Panthers Prevail, 2-1, Over Bel Air | The Charleston Panthers picked up a win at Franklin Mountains Field, knocking off the Bel Air Princes, 2-1. Starting pitcher Tony Colunga, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Zach Hensler notched his 17th save in 18 chances. Charleston is 4th in the TMLA Dick Williams Division with a record of 38-40.
The Panthers got a big at-bat from first baseman Cesar Corona. For the game, Corona was 1-3 with a double. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Charleston a 2-1 lead.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Corona. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
