| Saints Win Thriller, 4-3 | The St. Paul Saints took Tree City pitcher Javy Cabrera's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Saints Ballpark. The final score had St. Paul getting past the Black Squirrels, 4-3. Cabrera went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 6. St. Paul is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The Saints got a big at-bat from first baseman Victor Castillo. For the game, Castillo was 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 23rd hit of the season gave St. Paul a 4-3 lead.
