| Saints Come Back Late to Top Bush Wackers | The Brisbane Bush Wackers got a superb performance from second baseman Ryan Calcagno. Still, it wasn't enough to beat St. Paul. The Saints won the game, 7-6. In spite of the loss, Calcagno was named the player of the game. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. St. Paul reliever Brett Shumway was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Mario Mendoza took the loss. Even with the win, the Saints have a dismal 22-54 record.
The Saints got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Sergio Ramos. For the game, Ramos went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave St. Paul a 7-6 lead.
"We'll take this win and move on," said Ramos.
