| Vikings Roll to 9-3 Win Over Road Warriors | Victoria beat Westside on the strength of starter Orlando Cordoba's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 9-3 win. Victoria improves to 47-30 with the win. They lead their division by 3½ games.
Javier Trujillo, who is tied for 4th in the LBL in doubles with 17, helped out the Victoria cause in the top of the seventh inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the third baseman went 2-4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
"It makes it a little nicer in the clubhouse when we win," said Trujillo. "It eases the tension."
