| Knights Trip Vikings in Extras | The Knights faced a stiff challenge from Dublin pitcher Eddie Rangel, but persevered to claim a win at Valhalla Summit. The final score was 3-2. Rangel went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Kingwood reliever Tommy Burhoe picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Francis Haworth was collared with the loss. Ramon Feliciano notched his 2nd save in 2 chances.
Tobias Garcia had a nice at-bat for the Knights with one out in the top of the 12th. With a runner on 3rd, the right fielder drew a walk, which would prove important in the Kingwood win.
"We found a way to get it done," Garcia said.
The current losing streak for Dublin has reached 7 games.
