| Dannattet goes 3-for-3 in Hornets Win | The Bethesda Hornets stymied the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 4-1, at Hornets Field. Douglas Dannattet, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Bethesda. Dustin Thompson got the win, improving to 2-0. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 3. Tadakatsu Murayama was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 11 of 12 save opportunities.
