Jack Morris helped his team muscle past the San Francisco Earthquakes, 10-4. In the game, the Bloomington third baseman was 4 for 8 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Matt Comrie, credited with the win, is now 4-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings.
The Blazers got a big at-bat from shortstop Fernando Franco. For the game, Franco went 1 for 5 with 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. In the top of the 14th, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 20th hit of the season gave Bloomington a 5-4 lead.
