| Victory Pushes Jedi Knights Record to 41-33 | The New Orleans Jedi Knights topped the Chippewa River Chiefs by the score of 8-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Tyler Walter. Walter went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Jedi Knights on the day. Geoff Baxter notched his 2nd save in 3 chances. The Jedi Knights bumped their record to 41-33 with this latest triumph.
Walter contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for New Orleans in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 5-3, Walter took a fastball from Billy Carroll and stroked the home run to right. His 11th home run of the season allowed the Jedi Knights to leap in front, 7-5.
"We take it day by day here," said Walter, "and today was a good one for us."
