| Mustangs Lose, 5-4, at Franklin Mountains Field | The Charleston Panthers topped the San Angelo Mustangs by the score of 5-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Sergio Garcia. Garcia was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Panthers on the day. Charleston reliever Harry Plyler picked up the win, upping his record to 4-5. Eric Watson absorbed the loss. Zach Hensler notched his 15th save in 16 chances.
Garcia had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Panthers went on to win.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Garcia said.
Charleston is 4th in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division with a record of 35-37.
